Any exercise program that a physiotherapist at a physiotherapy clinic gives you should be carried out correctly and frequently. For many patients of physiotherapy, one visit is insufficient because they need additional sessions. For instance, if you've seen a therapist for two to three sessions but aren't seeing much progress, you might just need more sessions. It's possible that there isn't a magic number of prescribed sessions you must attend because that is decided during subsequent sessions. If additional sessions are indeed required, you cannot simply perform a physiotherapy exercise for knee or back pain and expect to see results.
